Welcome to Lesson Three. In this lesson, you'll get to see how to do a hemoglobin blood test for participants who are not eligible for a Pronto screening. We'll then break down the steps of the test one by one. Once this training is complete, your supervisor will show you how to perform this test in the lab with the real equipment, where you'll then get a chance to practice it for yourself on women, infants and children.

Please note that this lesson only demonstrates how to perform a finger stick on an adult. This is the same technique that will be used on children. Check with your agency on infant tests.
