The following supplies are needed for the test:

• Disposable gloves
• Sterile lancets
• Alcohol prep pads
• Antimicrobial soap which you've already used to wash your hands
• Cuvettes in closed vial
• Bandages
• Lint-free wipes or gauze, not tissue or cotton balls, as these can leave pieces of cotton behind
• Sharps container (or biohazard bag)
• HemoCue machine
• 10% bleach solution or disinfectant spray
