It is important to clean sensors at least once a day, and anytime you notice debris or grime. Remove the sensor from the participant and disconnect from the patient cable. Disconnect the patient cable from the device. Wipe the entire sensor and / or patient cable clean with 70% Isopropyl alcohol pad. Allow to air dry thoroughly before returning it to operation. To prevent damage, do not soak or immerse in any liquid solution. And do not attempt to sterilize by irradiation, steam, autoclave, or ethylene oxide.
